With over 45 years of professional animal training experience, Lourdes Edlin has trained dogs, cats, birds, dolphins, orangutans, baboons and pigs across film, television, live performances and competitive arenas. Her career highlights include:

45 years in canine sports (obedience, agility, flying disc, dock diving)

30 years of film and print production work

12 years in canine detection training (USDA, UF, FIU) Regional Trainer for USDA's Beagle Brigade. Trained detector dogs for Agriculture, Laurel Wilt (tree fungus, Tegu lizards, Bed Bugs and Covid.

37 years of live animal performance experience

32 years as a training consultant

Co-trained "Soaring Cindy" a rescue Greyhound who set and held the Guinness World Record High Jump of 68' for a decade.

Inducted into the Ashley Whippet Hall of Fame in 2005, the highest honor in Freestyle Flying Disc competition.
Lourdes has trained and performed throughout the U.S., including a national tour with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. She continues to serve as a Purina Incredible Dog Challenge judge and spokesperson, appearing on shows such as The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, and the Today Show.
Lourdes’ lifelong mission is to strengthen the bond between animals and people through skill, compassion, and collaboration.
